WHY

SIL, Safely In LUV’ grew out of today’s dire need for young people to understand what a healthy relationship looks like, so they can recognize if they are being abused, emotionally, mentally or physically.

Unique to this program is the overarching goal to create a ‘safe space’ where young people can freely share and deal with complex and sensitive issues that affect them in their relationships and in their everyday lives.

Our program not only provides weekly lessons for the participants, but it also includes a complete training program for the facilitators who will be working with young people and guiding them.

Victoria Okocha's Impact

As the founder of the LiveWise Foundation, Victoria Okocha has been a catalyst for change in youth development and emotional healing.

In February 2020 Victoria launched the 'Safely In Luv' SRE Training resource/program in the Houses of Parliaments in the UK. To Promote Healthy and Safe Relationships for young people in the UK.

This was to educate young people in schools on consent, boundaries, identity, self-worth and healthy friendships. She empowers and inspires them about the importance of being in a healthy and safe relationship.

With a background in trauma recovery, counselling, and leadership coaching, Victoria has created impactful programs that break cycles of violence, raise self-awareness, and improve educational outcomes. Her prevention work through Safely In Luv has reached hundreds of young people with life-saving education on healthy love, boundaries, and emotional safety. By bridging culturally relevant therapeutic methods with practical tools for personal growth, Victoria continues to lead with passion, creating spaces where young people can heal, grow, and shine.
